Meet the MOO Sticker squad: a guide to all Custom Sticker types

We love custom Stickers here at MOO. From our laptops to our Water Bottles, everything we own is covered in them. Not only are they a great way to get our brand out into the world, but Stickers also bring joy and personality to sometimes mundane daily items.

Lucky for us (and you), we just expanded our range of Stickers, adding new finishes, new sizes and new sustainable elements. Read on to find out which Stickers will help your brand stick in people’s minds.

Metallic Stickers

If you’re going for a fancier, elevated look, Metallic Stickers can help you achieve it. Unlike typical foil stickers that are almost reflective, these  offer a more subtle shine. Available in both Gold and Silver, they’ve got a paper base so you can tear them, and they’re made with a Biograde adhesive. 

How to use Metallic Stickers

Thanks to their glam finish, Metallic Stickers are great for special occasions like internal awards and birthday celebrations. If you want to amp up the shine, you can layer on more Gold or Silver ink with your design, or let the metallic finish act as a glitzy background. 

Coated Paper Stickers

Vinyl stickers are classic (more on them later). But we wanted to offer a more sustainable, PVC-free alternative, and the result is our Coated Paper Stickers. They’re smooth with a semi-gloss, but still durable and waterproof. Their paper base not only means they’re easy to tear, but they can be recycled along with whatever packaging they’re attached to. 

How to use Coated Paper Stickers

Coated Paper Stickers are real workhorses, good for all the same things you might use a vinyl sticker for. Great as packaging seals, as promotional Stickers, or stuck somewhere that might be exposed to a bit of water, and they’ll reliably adhere to a variety of different materials, including glass. If all that’s not enough, they’re also easy to write on, which means they can be used as name tags or forms.

Matte Paper Stickers

Our very first sustainable Sticker, we launched Matte Paper Stickers in spring of 2025. Made from uncoated FSC® certified paper and no PVC, their surface is slightly textured and they’re super durable (FSC-C214359). That textured surface also makes them writable and they’re available in 13 different shapes and sizes, so the customization options are endless.

How to use Matte Paper Stickers

The writable surface of our Matte Paper Stickers makes them perfect for both sealing packages and for return address labels. They’ll also make great name tags, promotional giveaways, or product labels.

Vinyl Stickers 

A classic Sticker with unmatched durability, our Vinyl Stickers are the go-to choice for just about any branding opportunity. They’re available in both Glossy and Matte finishes, and they were our first foray into Stickers, so they’ll always have a special place in our hearts.

How to use Vinyl Stickers

Since they’re super durable, Vinyl Stickers are always a good choice for laptops, Water Bottles, and Notebooks–anything that gets a lot of daily use. Available in Round and Rectangular shapes, as well as small or large in both, the design options are endless.

Die cut stickers 

Last but definitely not least, our Die Cut Stickers. These ones put even more branding and design power in your hands, since they can be cut into virtually any custom sticker design. Available in both our Matte Paper and Coated Paper Stickers, just upload your shape to create your own, bespoke bit of branding.
