This U.S. State Privacy Laws Notice (this Notice) supplements the information and disclosures contained in our Privacy Policy. It applies to individuals residing in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, and explains how we collect and process information about you as a business or controller and how you can exercise your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Act Concerning Personal Data Privacy and Online Monitoring, Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, Florida Digital Bill of Rights, Iowa Consumer Data Privacy Act, Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act, Nebraska Data Privacy Act, New Hampshire SB 255, New Jersey SB 332, Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (the U.S. State Privacy Laws).

Personal Information Collection, Use, Disclosure, and Sale
For the purposes of this Notice, Personal Information means information that the U.S. State Privacy Laws in this Notice defines as “Personal Information” or “Personal Data.”
Personal Information does not include information that is:
- Lawfully made available from government records.
- Deidentified or aggregated.
- Otherwise excluded from the scope of U.S. State Privacy Laws.
The chart to the right provides the categories of Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information (as defined by U.S. State Privacy Laws) we have collected, disclosed for a business purpose, or sold or “shared” (for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes or targeted advertising purposes) in the preceding twelve months since this Notice was last updated. The examples of Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information provided for each category reflect each category’s statutory definition and may not reflect all of the specific types of Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information associated with each category.
We will retain Personal Information for a time period required or allowed by applicable regulations or laws and as needed to fulfill business purposes outlined in the chart to the right, including providing you products and services, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements, or for other purposes described in this Notice. Our retention of information is based on many factors such as your relationship with our Services, the nature of the information, compliance with our legal obligations, and defending or resolving actual or anticipated legal claims.

Professional or Employment-Related Information Examples: Job application or resume information, past and current job history, and job performance information. Inferences Drawn from Personal Information Examples: Consumer profiles reflecting a consumer’s preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, and attitudes, and general (non-precise) location. Sensitive Personal Information (Log-In and Financial Information) Examples: Account log-in, partial debit card, or partial credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account. --- Marketing, auditing interactions, contracting vendors, improving our services, fraud and incident prevention, and providing services Over the past 12 months, we have disclosed Identifiers, Commercial Information, and Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information to Advertising Providers, such as advertising technology companies and ad networks, and to analytics providers for marketing purposes.
Under the U.S. State Privacy Laws, some of these data disclosures may broadly be considered a “sale” of Personal Information, processing of Personal Information for targeted advertising, and “sharing” of Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not knowingly “share” Personal Information about consumers under the age of 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly process Personal Information about consumers under the age of 13.
Use of Personal Information
We collect your Personal Information for the following specific business and commercial purposes:
1. Providing Products and Services: Providing you with our products and services.
2. Communicating: Communicating with you, providing you with updates and other information relating to our products and services, providing information that you request, responding to comments and questions, and otherwise providing customer support.
3. Marketing: Marketing purposes, such as developing and providing promotional and advertising materials that may be useful, relevant, valuable or otherwise of interest to you.
4. Personalization: Personalizing your experience on our services, such as presenting tailored content.
5. Sending Messages: Sending you text messages or push notifications.
6. Facilitating Payments: Facilitating transactions and payments.
7. Deidentification and Aggregation: Deidentifying and aggregating information collected through our services and using it for lawful purposes.
8. Job Applications: Processing your job application.
9. Safety Issues: Responding to trust and safety issues that may arise.
10. Compliance: For compliance purposes, including enforcing our Terms and Conditions or other legal rights, or as may be required by applicable laws and regulations or requested by any judicial process or governmental agency.
11. Auditing Interactions: Auditing related to your interaction with our services and concurrent transactions, including, but not limited to, counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions, and auditing compliance with other standards.
12. Fraud and Incident Prevention: Detecting security incidents, protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and prosecuting those responsible for that activity.
13. Debugging: Debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
14. Transient Use: Short-term, transient use.
15. Contracting Vendors: Contracting with vendors and service providers to perform services on our behalf or on their behalf, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing advertising or marketing services, providing analytics services, or providing similar services on behalf of the business or service provider.
16. Improving Our Services: Undertaking activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of our services, and to improve, upgrade, or enhance our services.
17. Enabling Transactions: Otherwise enabling or effecting, directly or indirectly, a commercial transaction.
18. Notified Purpose: For other purposes for which we provide specific notice at the time the information is collected.
Collection of Personal Information
We collect Personal Information from the following categories of sources:
1. You/Your Devices: You or your devices directly.
2. Other Individuals: For example where they have suggested you for our Refer a Friend scheme or if they have sent you a gift card.
3. Affiliates (other members of our corporate group).
4. Advertising Providers.
5. Analytics Providers.
6. Social Networks. Including review sites.
7. Resellers: Data brokers.
8. Partners: Business partners.
9. Public: Publicly accessible sources.
Your Privacy Rights Under the U.S. State Privacy Laws
Some states provide consumers certain rights regarding their Personal Information. Depending on where you live and subject to certain exceptions, you may exercise the following rights.
Right to Know and Access. You may submit a verifiable request for information regarding whether we process your personal information and to know and access the following : (1) categories of Personal Information collected, sold, or disclosed by us; (2) purposes for which categories of Personal Information are collected or sold by us; (3) the sources from which we collect Personal Information; (4) categories of third parties (or third parties, if you are a Oregon resident) to whom we disclosed Personal Information; and (5) specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you during the past twelve months.
Right to Delete. Subject to certain exceptions, you may submit a verifiable request that we delete Personal Information about you that we have collected about you.
Right to Correct. You may submit a verifiable request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you.
Verification. Requests to know/access, delete, or correct Personal Information are subject to our ability to reasonably verify your identity in light of the information requested and pursuant to relevant U.S. State Privacy Laws requirements, limitations, and regulations. To verify your access, deletion, or correction request, please follow the instructions provided in our response to your request.
Right to Opt Out. In some circumstances, you may opt out of the sale or sharing (for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes) of your Personal Information and to opt out of the processing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising. Right of No Retaliation. You have the right to be free from discriminatory treatment for the exercise of your privacy rights, including if you are an employee, applicant, or independent contractor of our business.
Right to Appeal. You have the right to appeal any decision with regard to your privacy request.
Submit Requests. To exercise your rights under U.S. State Privacy Laws, please send an email to the email address in the Contact Information section below, or submit a request form through our “do not sell or share my personal information” page.
Authorizing an Agent. If you are acting as an authorized agent to make a request to know/access, delete, correct, or opt out on behalf of a resident of a state with U.S. State Privacy Laws, please provide us (by email) with written authorization signed by the resident, and we will contact you and the resident with further steps required to verify the resident’s identity.
Additional Disclosures
Minors. We do not knowingly sell or share (for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes) Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly process Personal Information about consumers under the age of 13.
Opt-Out Preference Signals. You can exercise your right to opt out of the processing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising, the “sharing” of your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or the “sale” or your Personal Information by turning on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in participating browser systems. You will need to turn the GPC on for each browser you use. To learn more about the GPC, visit the Global Privacy Control website. If you visit our website using a web browser with the GPC signal enabled, we will treat the GPC signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising, “sharing,” and “sales”. If you are a CT, DE, OR, MT, TX, NJ, NH, or MN resident and have enabled the GPC signal, our cookie consent and individual rights manager will detect and respect this signal, automatically opting you out of future data sales and sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising purposes. Please note that enabling GPC will only affect data collected after the signal is activated; it will not impact previously collected data unless you submit an Individual Rights Management (IRM) form.
