MOO x Raising Harts: How print helped power a fundraising gala
From invitations to thank-you notes, print that creates connections.

April is Autism Acceptance Month, but for Raising Harts, supporting neurodiverse families is a year-round mission.
Founded by Candice Hartford — a nurse and mom of three, including Autistic twin boys — Raising Harts is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit that creates a community for families of Autistic and neurodiverse children.
Her vision? A safe, joyful, and judgment-free space where parents, caregivers, and kids can find connection and support.
This year, the organization hosted its third annual Harts for Autism Gala, and it was their biggest yet — nearly 400 guests came together to raise funds, share stories, and celebrate the incredible children and families at the heart of the mission.
Print with purpose
To bring the event to life, the Raising Harts team developed a warm and welcoming visual identity — one that could be carried across every touchpoint, from table signage to keepsakes. That’s where we came in.
Here’s how print helped power the gala experience:
- Half-page Postcards doubled as table signs — with Printfinity, each VIP sign showcased a different child in the community.
- MiniCards became drink tickets featuring the message: “Let’s raise a glass to autism acceptance.”
- Super Postcards with Envelopes were used as thank-you notes for major donors and sponsors.
- Square Business Cards gave Candice and her leadership team an easy way to spread awareness and connect with new faces.
Every piece of print told a story, encouraged conversation, and made attendees feel more welcome.
Building community, one connection at a time
At its core, Raising Harts is about more than events. It’s about belonging. Whether through weekend meetups, sensory-friendly activities, or their growing parent network, the organization is working to ensure that no one walks this path alone.
And with every detail of the gala designed to reflect that mission — from the signage to the thank-you cards — guests walked away not only inspired, but more deeply connected to the cause.
