There’s real power in singular letters – both from a design point of view, but also as a recipient. Whether you’re a one-man-band or a corporate conglomerate, there’s something arresting about simply introducing yourself and your business with one identifying letter.

About the designer preview

Who doesn’t sometimes think the world would be a little better if we were all like Superman? I know I do! I’d also recently become very into creating art from abandoned letters on old dilapidated signs after a trip to this amazing place in Walthamstow called God’s Own Junkyard, which has lots of beautiful signs and is a great place to go to ignite your creative juices. I think singular letters have a lot of power. But I would say that, I love typography!

About the designer

Matt Avery is a designer and art director who grew up in Essex, and now lives in East London. When not working at MOO you might find him playing music with the band 'Kindness', or trying to get his drum machines to work. He has a hatred of Croc shoes.
