As ever there’s bundles of lovely stuff appearing in our Flickr pool. We thought we’d do a quick round up to share some of our favourites.
These MiniCards caught our attention with their bright colours and bold design. Dave Briggs again proves that strong typography and a bit of imagination is equally as effective as the perfect photograph. For more design and typography ideas, see our previous post.
Sometimes, typography AND photography can work well, as Ginger Snaps shows us with these super-cute MiniCards!
A mix of strong photography and typography is also at work on these Business Cards, by design student, Jamie Gregson. He says “I’m really impressed with them, so much so I’m not sure I want to be giving them out…” And we can see why, they’re lovely!
And while we’re talking of unusual uses for MiniCards – how about wearing them as a necklace? Jewellery designer and maker 3 squares has been converted temporarily to circles, with this great MiniCard holder/necklace:
I am so glad MOO finally found this wonderful necklace. it is wonderful because it is a marketing tool. you can store about 4 inside and people ask all the time. it is a way to hold them that people can see and you just pull one out and pass it on! LOVE IT!
We know that lots of you are great ambassadors for MOO and so we've been thinking of a way to say thank you. Which is why you can now actually earn money off your next order when you refer friends to MOO.Find out more
