Boston, Massachusetts is one of the oldest and most historic cities in the United States. It saw the first Puritans arrive from England, was the scene of the Boston Tea Party and was home to the first subway (that’s transport system, not sandwich chain), university and library in America.
When we began the search for our second US office, we made a list of everything we’d love our new home to have. At the top of our list was that we wanted to be near lots of our lovely customers (and the MOO Crew in our Providence office), right in the middle of the action, and part of the community too. Not too much to ask, right?
So taking all of this into account, Boston made perfect sense! Now we just had the (pretty big) task of finding an office… and luckily for us, our (rather lovely) VP of Marketing – and first Boston employee – was there for the search. A Boston native, it’s safe to say that Stephanie knows Boston like the back of her hand.
Too modest to admit it, Stephanie was instrumental in us choosing to open our new office in the leather district of Boston: an area with lots of exciting start-ups and a real community vibe. But that’s enough from us, we’ll let Stephanie tell you a bit more in her own words…
“Boston was the perfect choice for MOO because it’s a hub of technology, innovation and education. It’s a city of neighborhoods and residents have a lot of personal pride, much like the pride MOO has in the work we do.”
“The MOO office is right downtown in a row of start-ups so we can feel surrounded by our customers. Not only that, but the creative community is thriving across the city too.”
With that said, it’s also near to some wonderful restaurants and is right next to Chinatown (not that this swayed our decision of course!).
Over the past few months, we’ve been working (very) hard to get the office ticking over like clockwork. There’s been lots of construction, many late nights and of course, some expert desk building from our very own Matt and Em.
We’ve not just been building walls, meeting rooms and desks though – we’ve also been busy building our team. Our latest office has lots of lovely new MOO Crew members and we’re not stopping yet! We’re on the look out for a few more folks to join us.
Stay tuned to the blog for a few more sneaky peeks into the building of the new office and to meet the new team!
What? BOSTON, I’m in BOSTON!! (Well, 20 mins north of it, but all the same). I would love to stop by and tour the new digs. Who can I contact?

Welcome to Boston! Do you plan to host any events here in the future? Also, Make sure you check out Gourmet Dumpling House for lunch some day. ;D
You should have come to Palmer.
I love your stuff.
Absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations, MOO!
If you keep growing and want to come out to the west/central part of the country, consider Denver and allow me to show you around!
I remember ordering my first moo cards when you were so far away. Your innovative approach to printing has been a huge advantage in promoting my illustration business and i’m preparing to use your services to help me fulfill some Wedding commissions in the very near future as well as to help me brand my next business venture this coming May. I guess what I’m trying to say is… welcome to Boston. Do you give tours?
I work around the corner from this new office–I’d love to come visit someday and see it live and in person! It’s beautiful!
Great choice – Boston. I also love your subtle British branding of the Union Jack cube in your office!
