My life as a MOO Ambassador began in January, and this month I was back on the road, joining Paul and Rebeka in Las Vegas for WPPI, a wedding and portrait photography trade show. There were attendees from all over the world, and there were MOO fans from all over the world. It’s always such a delight to meet our fans, especially the ones who take the time to tell us how much they love MOO. I spoke to a gentleman from Brazil, several folks from Canada, and a few visitors from Europe. I even met fans who have been customers since MOO’s earliest days, when there was only the MiniCard.
One of my most memorable moments was meeting …Continue reading this article…
Regular readers of the blog will know that Roly, a senior developer here at MOO, delights us with fantastic new colours and patterns in his hair.
With that in mind, and given our love of all things creative, we decided it would be good to keep a record of the wonderful hairstyles that grace our office and get some insights into why Roly chooses what he does!
Mudflap girls
This week’s gem is a pair of mudflap girls floating on a rather fiery background. Roly first mentioned the idea to a few of the moo crew over a beer and how our HR department might have something to say about it…
…They did, though luckily for us it …Continue reading this article…

Back in 2010 we launched the unique ShowCase Business Card Holder in black and white, which was designed to fan out your cards – showing just how amazing they are.
Well, since then we have been playing around with some new finishes and we are now ready to reveal the new rubbery black ShowCase. We have taken the current black ShowCase and added a rubberized coating to create a new frosted look with a tactile satin feel.

It still fits exactly the same amount of Business Cards and works in the same way – we just wanted to make it even more special.
Hope you like it!
If you’ve been following this blog for a while or met any of us in person, you probably know we’re passionate about great design. That’s why we take great care and effort designing products, packaging and even our website to ensure anyone can easily create beautiful, well-designed cards and stickers. And just last month we introduced Luxe, a new kind of MOO. Luxe Business Cards are our most premium product and triple the thickness of most standard business cards. So then we thought remarkable quality cards deserve remarkable designs and, with that, The Luxe Project was born.
We were super excited to show you Luxe Business Cards and now we’re even more excited to tell you …Continue reading this article…
To kick off February in the right way we asked our fantastic MOO customers on Twitter what advice they would give to make a great first impression. We were inundated with fabulous suggestions ranging from the functional, to quite frankly, the bizarre.
It’s been really hard to pick the winners for #MOOFirst but we got there in the end and here’s a selection of our favourite suggestions from the last five days! Continue reading this article…
Hi everyone, Dan number six here. I’ve just joined MOO and one of the first questions I have been asked is what pictures I’d like on my business cards. This hasn’t been an easy question to answer, as the possibilities are only limited by how far my imagination is willing to stretch on a Friday afternoon.
I’ve already run through some of the many options, from photos in my Flickr account, to awesome graffiti shots via some amazing line art. I really am struggling.
I need your help!
That’s where you come in – I’m looking for the MOO blog readers for inspiration. If you think you know of the perfect shot for the back of my card, then I’d love to …Continue reading this article…
Some of you may remember that last month we launched Facebook timeline cards? Well, since then we’ve seen loads of great examples and we thought it was time we shared some! Here is a selection of some of our favourites:

When you order our new Luxe Business Cards, you’ll notice that we include a card with one of our favourite opening lines in every pack :

When we asked you for some of yours you didn’t disappoint! As far as opening lines go, the movies are a great place to get inspired – which is why so many people end up using movie quotes on their business cards, to rather memorable effect. As always, you’ve come up with some fantastic opening lines, both from the silver screen, and the real world, so here (in full technicolour!) is the winner – and the best of the rest.

I’m MOO’s Senior User Experience Designer, but in a past life I was a web developer. I love technology and spent much of my spare time writing code and developing my own ideas. When I was given the opportunity to take part in a Music Hack Day at MIDEM in glamorous Cannes, I jumped at the chance. MIDEM is one of the biggest music conferences in the world, with a big focus on creative innovation – just like at MOO.
So, what exactly is a hack day? “Hacking” has a bad image, but this kind of hacking is nothing to do with the hacking you’ve seen in films. A hack day is an opportunity to build something new, in …Continue reading this article…
