Over the years, we have had the pleasure of meeting many of you at events, parties and conferences or virtually over Twitter, Facebook and Flickr. No matter how we’ve met, we’re constantly amazed by your creative approach to business not to mention your MOO Cards. It seems that behind every business card is a unique, inspiring and remarkable business.
While we think your business cards are pretty cool and awesome, we’d rather feature your stories and business advice in our first ever television ad campaign. It’s your stories that really shine through and that’s why we asked the creative team (at Creature of London) to feature some of them to help us promote MOO. And, then they suggested we bring the stories to life on business cards using stop motion photography. We loved the idea. Double Yay!
We hope you also enjoy these MOOsters’ stories and advice. We have the first two to share today (more to come in the following weeks). First off, Michael Acton Smith from Moshi Monsters shares his advice below in 30 seconds.

I love Moo’s adverts, but at the same time am secretly hoping that nobody else ever finds out where I get my lush cards printed, so I can horde all the Moo uncoated-super-thick-sexy-stock goodness for myself. I know, I know. Sad! But I love Moo cards- seriously, they’re SO gorgeous. If you guys ever decide to branch into magazine or publication printing, I’m coming to you. Imagine it….*shudder*. HOT.
I enjoyed the simplicity of the stop motion photography. I especially liked not seeing the speaker’s face, but instead seeing the product. I’m American, so I liked the different accents of the two speakers. I also liked the color of the model’s shirt in the ad that used Michael Acton Smith’s story.
Good work, you guys! Both ads made me smile, just like I do whenever I receive MOO orders in the mail and every time I handle any of my MOO business cards, mini cards, or postcards.
I love these! I think the huge draw of ads like this is two-fold; it will make people smile because of its cheeky humor, and it will INSPIRE people to create an idea. I get such a great response to my own MOO cards, and am absolutely impressed by the company as a whole.
