That means one thing - regardless of whether you’re off to connect with the tech and music scene at SXSW, with fellow photographers at WPPi or Focus on Imaging, or fellow tweeters at Twestival – it’s time to stock up on your cards.

After the Elevator Pitch

We think that face-to-face meets are always better than an email or phone call. But, how can you be sure you aren't forgotten once they've gone back to the Head Office? Why not leave your potential client or Angel Investor with a memorable and hard-working Business Card. Here are some unique ideas from some MOOsters who really know how to network.

LinkedIn Keep your pitch alive
Don’t rely on the recipient remembering your pitch, why not use your cards to remind them? LInkedin used MOO’s Printfinity technology to put a different product message on each of their Business Cards.

Perch cards Turn your card into a free trial
Perch printed 100 different discount codes on the front of their MiniCards to create coupons they could track. The back was created by uploading a high-resolution JPEG.

Lastfm cards Share your brand
Last.fm used a variety of high-impact images of up-and-coming musicians for their Business Cards. This way, they can show their new contacts that they live and breathe what they do.

SXSWi Pick-up

A few of the MOO Crew will also be attending SXSWi and would be happy to hand deliver your cards*. Just order before March 1st using the code sxswpickup. Then pick up your orders at the exhibition hall on Saturday March 13, from noon until 3pm. We’ll be hanging out at the UK Digital Mission Booth. (who knows, we may have a little something special for all the MOOsters we meet).

See you there!

The MOO Crew

*MOO will be at the interactive portion of SXSW only. Please do not order your cards with this code if you won’t be there on Saturday March 13.
