We love to print, January 2008
In this issue we:
It's the MOOsLETTER!
Nice to meet you, Providence!

Text-o-matic Business Cards It was a meeting of minds last week, as some of the MOO USA & MOO UK Crew met in real life instead of video screen for the first time. Even better, we got to meet some Rhode Islanders at our Providence Party! We also got an impressive citation from the Mayor - which you can see Brian holding here. Thanks to everyone who came - and thanks for the brilliant food recommendations - you people really know your food!

On the road again - hello London, hello Texas!

We’re on the road again over the next few weeks, at the Digital Photo & Imaging (DPI) show in London, from June 18th - 19th, and the How Design Conference in Austin, Texas on June 24th - 27th. We’re huge fans of How Magazine, (when we can grab it in the UK!) and really excited to meet up with more designers. If you’re in the area, drop by and say hello to Pete and Rebeka, at our booth!

MOOvie Mania Competition

MOO Mother's Day Gifts This great little MOOvie by Marina, was entered into our MOOvie Mania competition! The competition is running from now until July 31, 2009, and there is still plenty of time to enter - the first prize is worth £700/$1200!
If you’d like a little music to accompany your visuals, Lisa has writen a great post on free music resources, and iStockphoto has even given MOO users a discount code! Find out more about that right here.

Wedding season is here again!

MOO Mother's Day Gifts Favourite Favours: We’ve featured lots of ideas in the past for save the dates, wedding favours and thank you cards, but we’re still seeing great ideas pop up in the Flickr Pool. These lovely MiniCards were made by Jasmine and Nick as their wedding favours. On realising how much money is spent on favours, they decided instead to donate money to charity. These lovely mementoes, embellished with a brass eyelet and pretty ribbon, kindly urges their guests to do the same.

MOO Mother's Day Gifts Let your cards do the talking: These beautiful cards were made by Occasion Photography, and feature some of her wedding shots. Like a colourful portfolio, they’re perfect to take to photographic jobs, where people often ask for her contact details. She’s able to hand over a sample of her work and her details in one go! If you’re selling work from an event, they’re also useful for wedding guests to track down the albums online.

Frame your thoughts

Last year we introduced the Mosaic Frame for MiniCards. At the moment, it is only shipped from the UK store - and we’re working on a few changes before we start shipping from the USA. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the frame so far, so if you have 2 minutes, please take our super short survey (of four questions!) and help us out.

Fat Free Capuccino and Cream!

MOO Mother's Day Gifts Due to the popularity of the leather and steel Business Card holders, we’ve introduced a new colour! A capuccino leather on the inside, the holder is a pale cream on the outside. Carry your cards in style, and keep them well protected in your bag or pocket. Find out more on the site.

And that's all for now,

See you soon,
The MOO Crew
