Creative Commons, non-profit copyright organisation
Based in downtown San Francisco, the heart of Web 2.0, Creative Commons are a non-profit organisation that helps people navigate the choppy waters of copyright. Since 2001, their crew of 20-30 employees, working between offices in San Francisco, Boston and Berlin, have spread their net even wider, working with 45 international affiliates from China to the Netherlands. They facilitate creativity and the exchange of ideas, and protect people’s rights at the same time.
A great example of their work in action is the 70 million Creative Commons licensed photos on Flickr. It’s also the perfect content for MOO Business Cards! Their cards showcase a bunch of great CC licensed photography and shows how effective licensing gets creative work into the public arena. Being able to print a different image on every card gives CC’s contacts a taster of what their work means.

Get the look
The Creative Commons team uploaded a custom back for the text side of their cards, but you can get a similar look and feel by using MOO’s design templates.
Choose a version with a logo or image at the top of the card, and add your details in two columns of text underneath. You can align the text to the left, right or centre of the card. No logo? No problem, go for a simple, stylish approach and keep the details to a minimum.
