Using QR codes and Microsoft tags on your Business Cards and MiniCards is the latest way to make it even easier for the people you meet to contact you.
And of course, our creative community (that’s you!) has been in on the secret for ages. Here are just a handful of our favourites:
QR codes
PHP Developer and self confessed “general geek” Ben Dodson uses no ordinary contact details, only a QR code on his Business Cards to help people he meets keep abreast of his many, many online projects and social networking profiles, including Twitter, Delicious, Facebook, and Flickr. Plus, the images show off all of his hobbies!

Every so often a tech startup comes along that’s just way too cool for school – in a good way of course! Our new partner, the funky West Coast based about.me is like that person in your life that takes one look at your messy room, and in fifteen minutes, has tidied your desk, filed all your papers and done your taxes without even breaking a sweat. You can see why we’d want to become partners with that person!
So what do they do that’s so cool? Well, for one thing, they allow you to create a profile page that collates all your online profiles – like Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, LinkedIn, plus any other work you’re involved …Continue reading this article…
It’s been a whirlwind few months here at The Business Card Project. We’ve kept our designers nice and busy redesigning some of the most boring business cards we could find. We just finished our last few redesigns, so be sure to check out our business card inspiration gallery. Now there’s really no excuse to have boring business cards!
We had a blast working with every company and think all the redesigns are remarkable. But which redesign do you think is the best? We’re torn, that’s for sure. So help us decide! Rate each ‘before and after’ using the star rating at the bottom of each gallery page and the company with the highest number of votes and the highest …Continue reading this article…

Like the idea of ‘Printfinity‘ but don’t have different photos or images for your Business Cards? No problem! There’s still plenty of ways to get creative using only text. We’ve seen loads of text-based Business Cards, like BatchBlue’s use of Twitter quotes from happy customers or Equinox Photography’s fortune cookie MiniCards, that certainly stand out from the crowd. Words can have just as much impact as images, and can often be great conversation starters. Here are some examples of ways you can get creative with your cards by using only text.

Those of you familiar with MOO will have noticed some pretty major changes to our site over the past day or so. Yes, we’ve redesigned the site!
As we’ve been hinting at for the past few months, we’ve been preparing some changes to the site, and this is the first of a series of upgrades we will be making over the next couple of months. Let’s look at what’s changed and why…
So what’s new? A new homepage for one thing! Hopefully you’ll agree that it provides a fresh and clean outlook on the various MOO products, as well presenting useful and relevant information into new ways you can use your Business Cards, MiniCards and more! There’s links to …Continue reading this article…
As we mentioned a couple of weeks ago when we launched our Photo Enhancement tool, this is a very exciting time at MOO. Over the next few months you’ll see plenty of additions, and some dramatic changes to the site and the way it works.
So today is the day to tell you about the next new feature to debut on the site – Save Your Project.
This has been perhaps the most requested product feature of the past few months. Lots of you spend many hours crafting and perfecting your MOO cards, and the ability to take a break and come back to finish it later would allow you to take the time you need to make sure everything is …Continue reading this article…
Those of you who follow us on Twitter will be aware that over the past few months we’ve been looking for a steady stream of people to come to MOO HQ to help us test new developments on the site. We’re sure it doesn’t take a genius to add two and two together and figure that we’ve got lots of changes planned, to roll out over the next few months.
There will be lots more information on that to follow but in the meantime, the first fruit of this major update is ready to be unveiled…
