When we first put our heads together and decided we wanted to spend a whole week talking about branding with the MOO community, we had a sneaky suspicion that we’d be blown away by your brands… And we weren’t wrong! We had a real blast sharing some of our favourite examples of brilliantly branded MOO customers, and you wowed us with your tips in return.
The highlight for us was chatting with you about your what makes your brand tick and why it’s an important part of growing a business:
Well said, guys! It’s great to hear that your own values are the building blocks for your brand – after all, you’ve got to believe in your business and what you’re trying to achieve. We love the way you describe your brand values:
As well as seeing some unique identities for brands:
We were also lucky enough to be invited over to TechHub at the Google Campus in London, just around the corner from our London HQ. Jamie (our Community Manager) and Cat (our Brand Manager) gave a short talk on brand building and how to effectively communicate your brand to your customers. It was a pleasure to be sharing the stage with Simon from KidRated London, who shared his tips for creating great branded content. You can catch up on some of the top tips we shared on YouTube, and here’s a little preview of our live tweets at the event:
To round up the week, we asked to see some of your brands in action, across print, web, social and more! We’ve rounded your pictures up and popped them on a Branding Week Pinterest board, here are a few of our favourites to whet your appetite:
We loved this example of clever branding by Trustev – at first glance, ‘being all about the dolla’ might seem a bit anti-brand! But when your business is all about safeguarding clients from online fraud, and protecting their money, it’s actually rather clever – nice work!
And of course we fell in love with this brand too – the girls behind Watch This Space are copywriters and social media geeks, so what’s not to love?
Phew! Well there’s just a little snapshot of Branding Week, we want to say a big thank-you to everyone who shared their brands, tips and stories with us. Keep your eyes peeled for more fun weeks of conversations and tips. If you’ve got a suggestion of what you’d like to talk about with the MOO community, let us know in the comments below and we’ll put it to the drawing board.
Having read this I thought it was extremely enlightening.
I appreciate you taking the time and energy to put this informative article
together. I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and leaving comments.
But so what, it was still worthwhile!
I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I encounter a blog
that’s both equally educative and engaging, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the head.
The problem is something not enough folks are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I stumbled across this in my hunt for something relating to
Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything.
But think of if you added some great graphics or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this website could undeniably
be one of the most beneficial in its niche. Wonderful blog!
My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find
nearly all of your post’s to be exactly what I’m looking for.
can you offer guest writers to write content for yourself?
I wouldn’t mind producing a post or elaborating on many
of the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome blog!
