It’s a question that always causes a debate, but we’re not afraid of a bit of friendly banter, so we put it out there to everyone at MOO HQ – What’s your favourite Christmas film?
We had a mixed bag of answers, some more traditional and others a bit more outlandish (Terminator 2??). But without further ado, here are MOO’s top ten Christmas films of all time.
Did your favourite festival film make the cut? We’d love to know which film tops your list – let us know in the comments below.
Glad to see you had the same top two as me but I would have swapped them round. Elf is my all time favourite.
Wahhhh! No “A Christmas Story” in the top 10?? I had to triple check the list to make sure I didn’t miss it! Best EVER. It’s a Wonderful Life comes in at 2nd place, but it’s a close call. Hooray for Muppets, Miracle, and Scrooged! Also, just watched Disney’s Christmas Carol w/ Jim Carrey for the first time and it was surprisingly creative and well done!
Nightmare Before Christmas really belongs on this list. It does double duty and brings the two best holidays together as one.
For bonus points, Santa Claus vs The Martians needs to be mentioned for the epic horribleness. Bonus points for watching the MS3k or Riff Trax version.
I would definitely say A Christmas Story. My family watches it every year.
The Original “Miracle on 34th Street”. Did you know that the little girl in the film is Natalie Wood? ….I do believe in Santa Claus!
Christmas will coming. so wonderful
White Christmas w/ Bing Crosby and A Charlie Brown Christmas! Surprised these didn’t make the list!
