Life is made up of Mini Moments.
Hundreds of them come together to make up your day. They can come in all shapes and sizes and be as simple as the text message in the morning that made you smile, the newspaper article you couldn’t stop reading or that stumble in the street that you hoped nobody saw – but you know that everyone did!
We’d love to know what are some of your favourite Mini Moments throughout your day. So, *drumroll*, it’s competition time!
To enter, all you have to do is show us a Mini Moment from your day that makes you smile, or one you couldn’t live without, or even one that makes you want to pull your hair out (yup, sadly those Mini Moments happen too!). It could be something you see on your commute, helping your kids with their homework at night, or could even be dinner out with friends after work.
To enter, all you need to do is take a picture or video of your Mini Moment, share it with us using #MiniMoment on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine or Flickr and tell us what makes that Mini Moment special to you.
Three of our favourite moments will receive £50/$80/€60 MOOlah to spend and we’ll feature all the entries on our Blog and Pinterest page. We’ll be running this competition until Friday 27th September at 11:59 PST, so you’ve got a while to think and capture your moments.
As a bit of inspiration, we thought we’d get some of the MOO Crew to share their #MiniMoment with you. Check them out below:
Helen won’t mind us telling you this, but she’s a bit of a nerd (don’t worry, it just makes us love her even more!) But what’s her Mini Moment?
“It’s reading a book with a cup of tea in the evenings before i go to bed. I’ve done it every day since I was 12 years old and I can’t sleep if I haven’t read a few pages. This is the pile of books that lives by my bed, complete with requisite tea in a scrabble mug. I love words. Yes, I am a giant nerd.”
Dave is our MOO fountain of knowledge when it comes to food. If there’s something or somewhere good to eat, Dave probably knows about it (or has already eaten it.) So it comes as no surprise that his Mini Moment is restaurant related. Here he is in the photo above – out with friends for dinner (again!).
Mona’s Mini Moment is something we’re a little jealous about – planning her next holiday! Early next year Mona is off to South West India for a few weeks of sun, relaxation and exploring. Us? Jealous? Noooo….
Do you know earlier when we said not all Mini Moments are the fun sort? Jodie’s Mini Moment is one of those “pulling your hair out” kind of moments. He took a little picture of his morning commute into work – rather him than us!
Not to rub it in, but Melissa’s Mini Moment couldn’t be farther from Jodie’s. Her picture is of her lovely commute in – a bike ride in the sunshine. That’s more like it
Now, it’s over to you! We can’t wait to see all the great #MiniMoments that help to make up your days. Have fun.
My mini moment that made a smile and realise mow lucky I am to have an amazing boyfriend. I’d been having a rough time at work, been very stressed which my boyfriend knew all about. On my way to work I received a text message from my boyfriend that said ‘have a good day’, this made me smile and then to make my day even better and smile bigger I received some beautiful flowers from.
Is it #MiniMoment or #MiniMoments?
