Why, Thank You.

16th August 2013 by Paul T

Thank you. What’s they best way of saying it? When is a text message not enough? How do you feel when you receive a ‘thank you note?’ These were just some of the questions that we thought about when designing our brand new thank you Notecards.

We all agreed – when you receive a ‘thank you’ note in the mail, it never fails to gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling (don’t worry, we’re not getting all soppy on you). In a world of emails, social media and texts, it’s all too easy to send a quick “thx”. So why does receiving a handwritten, personal note make such a big difference?

When we first began the journey of creating our Luxe range, we wanted to create a tactile, luxurious product that brought you back to the era where everything was hand made, hand finished and a little extra bit special.

For us, extending the Luxe family from just Business Cards to Postcards, Notecards and MiniCards became about more than just print and paper, more than just making a good first impression. We wanted to create new printed products, with new designs and templates, which were all about creating an impression that goes beyond the initial meet-and-greet: a family of products for building meaningful relationships and lasting moments.

One of the most meaningful moments in a relationship or continued conversation is simply saying “thanks”.

The more we talked about sending a ‘thank you’ note, the more it became clear that this act of kindness shouldn’t be limited to just friends and family – you can send ‘thank you’ notes for all kinds of occasions: the amazing work your suppliers completed for you, a recent purchase from a loyal customer, the help you got when moving house (can we borrow your friends please?) or to sweetly say “thanks” to friends and family for joining you on your wedding day. The list is endless.

A lot of our experience all stemmed from when we receive a ‘thank you’ note from a customer – we tend to get a bit giddy in the office! It’s funny how something as simple as a few handwritten lines to say “thanks” can have such a big impact.

Think about the last time you received a ‘thank you’ note from someone, and about how it made you feel. There’s that warm fuzzy feeling again, right? That’s exactly what we kept coming back to when we were designing our thank you cards – that special feeling and lasting memory.

So why not take a few minutes out of your day to say “thanks” to someone and pass that feeling along.

Love the thank you cards, is there the opportunity to customise these to reflect company branding?

  2. Justin Caird-Daley:

I agree with Heather. Will it be possible to ‘design our own’ as we can say with the business cards?
