A couple of weeks ago we started thinking about famous characters and how they would design their own business cards. A few hours later we had a design mocked up for Zeus and thought it would be be fun to open the doors and invite anyone to design a card for the king of the gods himself (with a prize for the best design).
We had some fantastic entries but are pleased to announce that Mike Molloy has been chosen as the winner of the Zeus cards competition. You can check out Mike’s design below:
We’ve been so impressed that we also decided to award three runners up prizes and …Continue reading this article…
Last week on MOO’s Facebook page we wanted to know all about your Eureka moments and what gave many of MOO’s customers the push to start their own business.
No two stories were the same and it really helped to highlight that the inspiration for a new business idea can come from anywhere.
As difficult as it is to choose, there has to be a winner, and we’ve settled on Zach Jex’s inspiration for Pushlocal:
We were so impressed with the inspiring and remarkable stories that we also have to mention a few of the other Eureka moments that have caught our eye:…Continue reading this article…

Given that it’s small business week, we recently decided to pose a simple question on the MOO Facebook page – what was the best piece of business advice you’d ever heard? The response was absolutely outstanding with over 300 of you sharing your thoughts and suggestions.
Having gone through them all, we’ve decided that we should offer up a prize to Sandrine Cousette Franchet, who shared the following piece of advice:
Of course, with so many entries, we couldn’t go without mentioning a few other fantastic pieces of advice that were entered, and a big thank you to everyone who took the …Continue reading this article…
May 20-26 this year is National Small Business Week. Haven’t heard of it, you say? Here at MOO, you might have noticed we’re pretty much always celebrating small businesses, showcasing what our customers have designed to promote their small businesses, or bringing you tips from our experts to provide advice across a wide variety of different topics.
What’s MOO doing for Small Business Week?
We’re supporting Small Business Week by offering a Small …Continue reading this article…

We’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Business Cards here at MOO (no surprises there) and love seeing all the different designs that get sent to Big MOO to print – you really are a creative bunch you know!
This got us thinking about the cards we don’t see and what famous characters’ cards might look like. Kicking things off with Zeus, because the King of the Gods seemed like a good place to start, we settled on the following design:
Not bad hey?
Still, it’s not fair for us to have all the fun, so we want to see your designs! Given that designing some cool cards for the Zeus is on par …Continue reading this article…
MOO ships orders to countries all over the world, from two continents – North America and Europe. We ship orders to countries as far away as South Korea, areas as remote as the Cook Islands and to offices as close as next door to our UK office.
Wherever you are, it’s very important that you choose the best turnaround options to suit your needs. Rather than babble on about all the options available, we thought we’d group these into three easy rules of thumb:
I have a tight deadline
Whether it is a wedding, a trade show or an important meeting – it is imperative that you choose the fastest possible option, or you run the risk of turning up empty handed (d’oh!).
First of all, if …Continue reading this article…
We launched The Luxe Project back in February and so far we’ve had two amazing designers, our very own Creative Director Dan Rubin, and Michael Osbourne of Kettle Chip and USPS LOVE Stamps fame. This month we are pleased to welcome Katie Barcelona to the roster as our third Luxe Project designer.

You may have noticed from our Facebook galleries that we’ve been playing with paper a lot recently here at MOO HQ. It started with a couple of workshops run by Helen Friel, introducing us to paper engineering, and ended with the perfect brief for our design team to put their newly learnt skills to good use!
The first workshop focused on the technical side of things – folding paper and making pop up cards, while the second workshop turned our attention to the more creative elements of paper engineering – cutting paper and building layered dioramas.
Here’s some of the MOO Crew …Continue reading this article…
