You may remember last week that we blogged about some of the MOO crew you could bump into if you ever came into the London office to collect an order. Well the same service is available at from our office in Providence, RI and we thought it was only fair to introduce some of the US MOO crew, so without further ado…

A few of you may have chosen to come and collect your orders from our UK HQ from time to time. We give this option to make it more convenient for those of you who are based near us to get your MOO goodies!
Although we would love your visit to be a Willy Wonka-esque experience with chocolate rivers and a boat ride, our budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, but there are a few people you can look out for when you arrive. Let us introduce ourselves:
Rachel sits on reception at MOO (UK), and is the person you are most likely to meet …Continue reading this article…
As you may have noticed, we kinda have a thing for Business Cards. But, we’re not the first! So, to help spread the love, we thought we’d create this clever infographic that looks at the evolution of Business Cards – from their origins in 15th Century Japan right through to the modern day developments in card stock and printing techniques.
Click on the image below for a larger version, full of fun facts about business card history…

SXSW… it’s been a whirlwind, a hurricane… literally, a hurricane; the MOO Crew wondered if perhaps we brought the London rain over on the plane with us as the first 2.5 days of SXSW were pouring nonstop. We didn’t let the weather dampen our spirits (pun intended) – we’ve had an absolutely amazing time meeting customers at the MOO.COM Order Pick Up tent!
We’ve been camping out at Squarespace’s food truck since Friday, chatting with MOO customers who have come in to collect their order, giving out snazzy limited edition t-shirts, along …Continue reading this article…
You may have heard us talking about SXSW and the option to collect orders at SXSW… well the MOO Crew is now officially in Austin! If you’re in town, swing by the north east corner of 5th & Neches to say hi, collect your orders (if you’ve sent them to SXSW), pick up some Stickers and other MOO goodies. The first 50 people to come by each day (10am-1pm the 9th-13th March) will also receive a free SXSW themed t-shirt, designed by our designer Jovanna.
It probably goes without saying that a large percentage of the MOO crew are massive tech geeks. We love anything cutting edge, forward thinking and…well…shiny! Particularly if it combines with our other passion, great design. That’s why these MOO customers stood out to us. They’re a mix of web and app developers, web designers and a tech gadget reviewer – but the one thing they all have in common is great Business Cards.
Last week on the MOO Facebook page, we asked for your most embarrassing and cringe-worthy stories from networking events. The replies ranged from the simple mistakes right through to some truly outlandish examples of errors.
We had lots of fun reading through all your stories and had a really tough time deciding who should be given a prize. We eventually settled on this entry from Ambrosia Jefferson:
It was clear that there are a few things to be aware of when networking. The top three reasons for embarrassment included:
Drinking a bit too much alcohol
Handing out the wrong business cards
Here’s some of our other favourite entries and if you’ve got …Continue reading this article…
This week’s edition of the life and times of Roly’s hair brings something a little bit different to the MOO offices.
It was actually from Last Friday which was George’s (one of our product managers) last day before flying off to a new life in sunny California. In honour of George, Roly decided it would be a good idea to bring the infamous patterns of George’s shirts to life in his hair.
A haze of multicolored hairspray later, the MOO crew was in stitches to see the intricate check pattern criss-crossing Roly’s gravity defying hair, along with George’s initials.
