Your #MOOTIPs rounded up

The great thing about our entrepreneurial MOO customers – that’s you, by the way! – is that we know when we ask a question, we can count on a really diverse, useful and brilliant pool of answers in reply! And in our latest Twitter competition, as usual, you’ve come up trumps. We asked you to tweet your best business tips – and we’ve received so many fantastic ideas and snippets of advice, it’s been quite the challenge to pick just one winner every day! But in the end, we’ve chosen some really great tips, so without further ado, may we present some of the winning business tweets – and we hope you get as much out of them as we did.

    You may win new business with your creativity but you will only expand it with excellent service

    Service, service, service – s et ourselfm appart from others with your sensible business minded customer service. For sure someone else is selling similar widgets to yours – do better with your service and customers will come back to you.

    I encourage my new grads to send out post card intros to the HR department of companies they would like to apply at. It gives them your contact information and if they are hiring, they always reply with a please submit resume email or letter. It is a great way to show potential employers that you are a thinker.

    Improve Your Business by Just One Percent Each Week.
    If you improve by just one percent each week, your business will be 50% better after a year.

    Never close the door on someone. Business alwyas seems to revolve. What won’t work for someone today, may be just the answer in 6 months.

    Lots of great advice. The point about selling something you believe in and being passionate about it is HUGE. If you’re not confident about what you have to offer, neither will your potential customers.
