It seems like only yesterday I was stuffing my face with Easter eggs, yet we’re already preparing for Christmas! (In fairness, I WAS stuffing my face with Easter eggs. They had turned a little white, but when a man on the corner is selling chocolate from a supermarket trolley at a ridiculous discount, you buy it!)
The rest of my family is back in Australia, so what’s the best way to remind them that I miss them and that I’m not jealous of the amazing, sunny, delicious BBQ they’ll be having? Christmas Cards!
I’ve always liked things that have more than one use. I’m also a big fan of fancy dress. So naturally, when I was coming …Continue reading this article…
Those of you who follow the MOO Blog will remember reading about the MOO Lunch Club, where a few of us take a weekly opportunity to cook for each other. Well, it seems news of this culinary collective escaped from the blog, and down to the sleepy hollows of southern Hampshire – to my mother.
Consequently, I was officially tasked with making the 2011 family Christmas Cake. So, prepare for a tale of baking trial, tribulation, heartbreak and eventual glorious victory that’d make Peter Jackson envious.
Job 1: Find a recipe.
The internet is the friend I turn to in times of need, and its faithful answer was Delia Smith (think of her as the UK Martha Stewart). Oh, the …Continue reading this article…
Here at MOO we love customer feedback. It’s always great to hear from you, and keeping our ears to the ground is super useful when working in the Product team. After all, we are nothing without our customers and we want to ensure that we work on projects which will benefit you.
With this in mind, I would love to hear what you’ve got to say about our shipping options and the turnaround we offer.
Are we providing you with quick enough shipping options? What are your thoughts on the costs? Would you be interested in picking up your MOO order directly from our UK or US office?
Give this product manager an early Christmas present by completing this short shipping …Continue reading this article…
We know that all you freelancers and startups don’t slow down in the lead up to Christmas, so we’ve taken it upon ourselves to make sure you’re entertained during the countdown to the big day.
Below is an advent calendar we’ve compiled of interesting and/or useful things (well, we think so!) discovered on our internet wanderings. Every day we’ll reveal a new link, some designed to help you with your work (the secret to a great logo), give discounts off MOO products (Yay!), provide food for thought (history of the Business Card, anyone?) and sometimes distract you (that would be where the edible Christmas tree decorations come in). On top of that there’s also the occasional word from a member …Continue reading this article…

Over the past month some of the guys at MOO HQ in the UK and US have been raising money and awareness for prostate cancer charity Movember. Our itchy faces are now hair free and we are very excited to say that we raised over £500 and $170 towards the charity! It’s a shame to see some of the moustaches vanish, as they were really starting to grow on us here. Until next Movember!
