What’s in the Box? – A MOO Competition!

6th April 2011 by Charlotte

A few days ago, we received a top secret special something that made everyone at MOO HQ very, very happy – and we hope it’s going to make you all equally happy (as soon as we’re allowed to reveal what it is). When we posted a picture on Twitter, you made us laugh so much with your impromptu guesses (yes, “Wardrobe to Narnia” and “Time Machine”, we’re talking to you) that we thought we’d have a little fun. So, over the next few weeks, we’re running a competition called “What’s in the box?”

MOO Arrival

We’re looking for the most fun and fabulous guesses you can come up with – and since we know you’re an uber-creative community, don’t be afraid to (ahem) think outside the box (Oh dear. That was terrible, wasn’t it? That’s what happens when you try to box clever…)

To enter:

-Post your guesses in the comment section below (though if you do want to put your “answer on a postcard”, you’ll get brownie points if you made it at MOO!). If you don’t see your comment immediately, it’s just because we do have to check that they are nice and clean first – remember your mother could be reading this!

-The closing date is Sunday 17 April 11.59pm PT and we’ll announce the winner on the blog in the week beginning Monday 18 April

-The final decision will be made by Lisa, our very own VP of Marketing and Product

What’s the prize, we hear you shout? Glad you asked! The person who comes up with our favourite guess will win themselves £100 / $165 to spend with MOO.

Let the guessing games begin!

  1. Justin:

An oil painting of the Jersey Shore cast resembling the last dinner.

  2. Brian Worley:

It’s a box of stress balls ready to printed with a company logo, contact info and witty message. Then I can simply spread them around and when folks are stressed i’m already helping ease their troubles and my contact info is right at hand

  3. Ken:

I hope (and fear) that the box contains a similar reward as that found in the 1970s hit song by The Original Caste “One Tin Soldier”. So my guess is that there is a note that simply date “Peace on Earth”

  4. Kimberly:

5 pairs of tight pants and striped shirts?

Does the box harmonize beautifully? If Brian Wilson is in there, you should probably slip him some crackers or something, he must be starving.

  5. Jojo:

Well after watching Moo’s special ‘Clue’ it’s all become sooooo clear…
    So what’s in the box?
Well it’s obviously little jelly baby men ‘Other designs available.’
in striped suits, jumping up & down, getting their groove on to their
oober groovey retro sounds…(take a breath at this point)…..
all the while being spun around on their postcard platform space rockets…
(made at moo- obviously) which …wait for it….get them around…..
    (no groaning please).
And now I’m going to go off any draw them :)

Inside is the creator of the font Comic Sans. Someone finally found him and is bringing him to MOO justice!

Is it a giant raisin wearing Elton John style sunglasses dancing (well, wobbling) to The Police’s Walking On The Moon, sipping a piña colada whilst cuddling a koala bear that looks like Piers Morgan?

  16. Naiffer:

After the break-in from few weeks back, MOO hired a head hunter to catch them. What’s inside the box? An special delivery from the hunter!!

    Hello Moo,

You guys make me laugh all the time.

I think that the box contains ….

    melamine plates!!

I would love love love if you offered those. I would make 1,000,000 of them.

I have kids, and we have a lot of them in our house.

    Hope I win.

    Your Truly,
    Lucinda Brown

  34. justin m:

hey… you really need to poke holes in that thing if you’ve got the beach boys in there. and if you do in fact have a very small pandora holding her own smaller box inside that big box, i wouldn’t even open the bigger box… just to be safe. but if that’s a segway, then you should ride it.
