We’re a curious bunch here at MOO HQ. Not satisfied with simply printing your products, we want to know how you’re using them and what other ingenious marketing ideas you have. We spend time every day eagerly checking our Flickr pool, and our Twitter and Facebook accounts, hoping to spot great uses of our cards… and we’re never disappointed.
Once we’ve discovered them, we love sharing news of all the unusual, creative and really rather exceptional ways you make our cards work for you. As you may know, we’ve gathered together so many ideas that we’ve set aside an area for a new ‘Inspiration Gallery‘ to showcase them.
We’ve also launched a new Expert Tips section. You’re a typically diverse and creative bunch – and we know from talking to lots of you that you’re brimming with practical advice and specialist areas of knowledge. Our new Expert Tips area is designed to capture that knowledge and provide a supportive, informative environment for freelancers, small businesses, creative professionals and anyone looking for tips of the trade.
Over to you
We’ve come across some amazing blog posts; some describing how you’ve used MOO products, others sharing expert tips and advice. We discovered lots of your posts by visiting your sites, others were sent to us, but all of them were crammed full of ideas and advice.
We soon realised that you write about your products and ideas better than we do. So we thought, why not make it official and reward you for your posts? Have a competition, let our customers and experts enter and make sure that we don’t miss any of your creations on the way. We’ll provide some great prizes and hopefully everyone will have fun.
So how will the competition work?
We’ll select the best blog posts in two categories: Inspiration and Expert Tips.
Inspiration:
This will include your blog posts, videos or slideshows based on any MOO products. Basically, if you think your cards look great and are an original use of stationery, we want to know about it. Your creative piece can already be live, which should make the job even easier for you! The only rule is that there must be a photo or video of your cards or stickers to support your application. Take a look at our Inspiration Gallery for some examples. You could write about the way MOO is used in your packaging, for your wedding, a marketing promotion or a way to sell your illustration or photography. Business or pleasure, we don’t mind – creativity is the name of the game.
Expert Tips:
Are you an expert in your field? Do you think your tips could help the MOO community, freelancers and small businesses? If the answer’s ‘yes’ then this section’s for you. Send us your blog posts and tutorials on marketing, PR, SEO, event management, networking and more. Head to our Expert Tips section for some sample tips is action.
What can you win?
We’ll be giving away two grand prizes (one for each category) and smaller prizes for the 2nd and 3rd on the podium.
The grand prize winners will be awarded $600/€350/$600 worth of MOO products. Their article will be published in their respective category.
The 2nd and 3rd prizes in each category will get $200/£100/€120 worth of MOO products. Their article will be published in their respective category.
How do you enter?
We thought we’d keep it simple. All you have to do is:
1. Publish an article on your own blog that fits either of the two categories – Inspiration Gallery or Expert Tips.
2. Add the ‘MOO blogging competition badge’ (see below) next to your post, by simply posting one of these lines of code.
