As we mentioned a couple of weeks ago when we launched our Photo Enhancement tool, this is a very exciting time at MOO. Over the next few months you’ll see plenty of additions, and some dramatic changes to the site and the way it works.
So today is the day to tell you about the next new feature to debut on the site – Save Your Project.
This has been perhaps the most requested product feature of the past few months. Lots of you spend many hours crafting and perfecting your MOO cards, and the ability to take a break and come back to finish it later would allow you to take the time you need to make sure everything is just the way you want it.
Well now you can! When making any product on the site, at the bottom-right of the page you’ll see a “save and finish later” link. Click this and you’ll be able to save all the work you’ve done so far. Once you’re ready to start again, just come back to Your Account to pick up where you left off.
You can save as many orders as you want, and each is saved for up to 90 days. We can even send you reminder emails if you want them! We only require that you have a MOO Account to be able to save. (Don’t worry if you don’t have an account yet, you can open one the first time you save an item, it only takes a minute).
The Save feature is live now, so go and play with it and let us know what you think. We hope it’s just what you were looking for.
PS: Please note that we’ve made a little change when you log-in. You just log in with your email address now – no need to try and remember your username!

That said, would it be possible to make another order with the same design of a previously made order?
I got 50 business cards from you some time ago, and now I would like another 200 with exactly the same design… but I didn’t save it back then )
I have the reference number and all the details from the previous set, if that helps.

Thanks, this is great and was very much needed! Another option I hope you’ll consider, the ability to grab photos from one project and use them in another (without having to upload them again and again)…

This is great but when I click Complete Project it won’t let me go back and change anything. It’s either buy what I had saved or start over completely. Am I missing something?
It should be possible to go back and edit previous pages of your project. If you are on a page where you have the build steps at the top of the page, you should be able to simply click those to return to a previous page in the process.

I made a design and got to the quantity selection page. Later, I wanted to go back and switch out an image, but did not have the option to edit. I could only complete an order. A save function is great, but should be flexible enough to allow editing all the way up to hitting the order button.
I also agree that you should be able to use uploaded photos on future projects instead of uploading each time.
If you are talking about easy re-ordering of previous purchases, you can do that quickly and easily in our new and improved Accounts section.
However, I suspect you are talking more along the lines of an “image library” on the site, where you can easily make several different products without having to re-upload your images each time?
Sadly, this is not something we offer right now, but is something we’ve looked at and continue to look at as we work to improve the site. If you use Flickr/Etsy/Facebook though, you can easily drag in images from there!

I’m trying to make some cards but I also am at the point where you choose the quantity of cards and I can’t go back and change anything. I thought it might be a browser issue (I normally use Chrome), so I tried in IE but it’s no better. Frustrating – I guess I have to start all over, to go back and change 1 small detail?
I´m trying to order cards on line which I have done before. I was able to download the pics and when I was asked for my e.mail address and the passwordit told me time and again it was my wrong pass word. In fact it was the right password, I know it well and use it every single day. I was unable to pursue the ordering. Please help me if you can.

I’m having the same problem – got to the quantity stage and then wanted to make a change and can’t go back to do so… I’ve checked the help and it would seem to indicate that you should be able to edit until the cards have actually gone to print but I can’t find a way to.

I’m sorry to hear you are having difficulties. However, all is not lost! Although if you have saved on this page it is impossible to go back and make a change when you restore your saved project, there are still ways to make changes.
It sounds counter-intuitive, but the first thing you need to do is complete and pay for your order as-is. Once you have done this, if you browse to your Account on MOO, you will see you have a two hour window to edit your order. If you choose to do this you will be taken back into your order and you will be able to change text, images etc and then confirm your order.
I apologize that this seems such a weird way around this. We are working to fix this problem and hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.
Try clicking the “forgot your password” link. We will then send you an email confirming your password and you’ll be able to check that your MOO password is indeed the same as you think it is.

After saving a project, and before order, it’s a MUST to be able to edit the project by adding new images. The delete option is there. Am I missing something too?
In most cases, when you try and finish your saved project, it is possible to go back in the build flow and add, edit or delete images from your order. The only exception to this rule is if you save your work on the very final step. There is a problem on this page that prevents you going back to edit your work. This is something we are hoping to fix in the very near future.
However, all is not lost. You can still edit your work, as mentioned above. SImply complete your order, and then edit your order in the 2 hour edit window that you are allowed after purchase. We appreciate that this is far from ideal, and hopefully we’ll have this issue fixed pretty soon!
