We’re usually quite a happy bunch in the MOO office. You know, relatively calm, getting on with our work. Not alot makes us turn away from the job in hand (unless it’s pie, or something shiny.)
So it was a little shocking to witness much wailing and gnashing of teeth when Kim, our Product Manager arrived in the office without her bag. You know, the bag that contains an Ipod Touch (borrowed), a Playstation Portable (also borrowed), an Ipod video, a Lomo Camera and regular stuff like cash, keys and a *really* nice pair of headphones.
She’d left it on the bus.
She was so upset, some of us even turned around in our chairs to see what all the commotion was about. (We’re a caring team).
But, all’s well that ends well, and Kim, bag and contents have been re-united. It’d been on a journey to the other side of London, and the awesome driver, Makuntima, looked after everything until it could be tracked down.
This is *London*. That doesn’t happen often. So Thank You Mr Bus Driver! If Kim had been thinking straight before she left to be re-united, she’d've grabbed a pack of Valentine Stickers and stuck them all over you with relief-struck glee.
To make up for it, here’s some Stickers she would’ve stuck!

Similar thing happened to me in a taxi cab in Brighton. I left my laptop bag with my passport, etc., the night before I was supposed to fly out and speak at a conference.
The taxi driver drove it back.
If he hadn’t I would have been out of a laptop and most likely would have had to cancel my appearance.
All this to say, there are some lovely people in the world and it’s good to be reminded of it sometimes! :)
left some very valuables on a train to cambridge once and the train cleaner handed it in! ther is a god afterall.
