As you might know, we’re a nosey bunch - and we like seeing what people are upto with their MOO stuff. We’ve noticed a couple of things going on recently that you might like to join in too.

The first one is a little complicated. A four step program, ‘The MOO art-project’ launched yesterday. We noticed this a month or so ago, and have been wondering what it might be ever since. (This isn’t an ‘official’ MOO project, its something set up by artists who have bought MiniCards).

The four steps are listed as:
1) Disintegration
2) Back home
3) Left Overs
4) Reunion.

With the launch came the option to sign up and take part in Step one: Disintegration. The artists explain that one original image has been divided into 100 pieces, each piece being made into a MiniCard. Users can sign up to receive one MiniCard through the post, and thus the original image begins to disintegrate. If you receive a Card, look after it, as its needed to form a part of Step 2.

Five people have already signed up, and we’re looking forward to seeing where this goes. It’s not every day you get a chance to become part of a piece of art, afterall.

The second project requires very little effort for Flickr users with NoteCards - it’s a Flickr MOO NoteCard group! A special place dedicated soley to pictures of your MOO NoteCards. There’s some beautiful shots in there, and some lovely cards being made, like this set (below), by ?ick Harris. If you’re a Flickr member, be sure to add your photos to the group.

And finally, the Where is MOO project also seems to be going well. We mentioned it a few weeks ago, and they’ve had more people sign up since then. The idea is to send an empty box of MOO cards around the world, collecting a MiniCard and a story from each person as it goes. They only have 27 spaces left to fill the first box, so if you like trading MOO cards, then give it a go, its a nice little project to get involved in.
