The eagle eyed among you might have spotted that MOO started making cards with Fotolog a few months ago. Today we’re really excited to tell you that if you’re a Fotolog Gold Camera member you can get yourself a free 10 pack, in honour of Fotolog’s 5th birthday!
All you have to do is go to moo.com/fotolog, click the 10 pack button and get started. Choose up to 10 of your Fotolog photos, personalise the back, tell us where you live and we’ll ship ‘em to your door in a smart little 10 pack holder. Yay!
There’s also a post on Fotolog News about the giveaway, take a look.
The idea is to send an empty box around the world, collecting a MiniCard and a story from each user as it goes. From the discussion it looks like there’s quite a few people signed up so far, so if you fancy joining in, head over to the site, and get involved.
Hello to everyone we met last night at the MOO party -it was great to meet you all. We all had a lot of fun, and we hope you did too. We actually had too much fun to be writing a blog post at this time in the morning, so we’ll let some pictures do the talking, while we grab coffee… To those who couldn’t make it, we hope to see you at the next one.

As if you’d forget such a thing… But just incase, there’s a MOO party tonight, at 111 Minna, San Francisco. We’re looking forward to seeing you there, for a little MOO-ey fun in the sunshine.
There’s more details on Upcoming, should you need them. Woo!
As I mentioned in the previous post, we’ve noticed a lot of crafters out there taking photos of items they’ve made, to put on MiniCards. If you are one such person, you might like this tutorial on how to make a $10 macro studio.
It’s so simple, we think even some of the MOO crew could do it – which means if you’re a crafter, you’ll be able to whip one up in no time at all. Hey presto – studio quality shots of your beautiful things.
There’s also an advanced tutorial, for those who are already one step ahead.
Something for the weekend? To make I mean. It’s something to make.
We’re getting ready for the MOO meet-up next week in San Francisco. We’re very excited, not least because it gives us a great excuse to play with sticky tape, plastic, and huge version of the ‘Yay!’ sticker. What’s not to like? Here’s Will modelling a yay.
While we’re at it, now seems like a good time to share a few links to people considerably more accomplished at crafting than we are. We’ve noticed people making and selling things, either via Etsy or their own sites, are using MiniCards to promote their work.
These are some of the cards we’ve spotted…
Cards for Elotopia’s shops
A card to promote Wapita’s Etsy store
