Bebo frenzy

31st January 2007 by Denise

Its been crazily busy since we launched Bebo. Sometimes we wonder why we do this to ourselves – giving away 10,000 cards is a big task simply as the uptake is so speedy, but actually, its a lot of fun. And, you know… we like you! Seeing our little cards go off into the world gives us all a warm feeling inside.

So far we’ve sent 1500 10-packs out, with thousands more to follow in the next few days. Big MOO is working hard and our many little MOO’s are rushing about in frenzy of activity. We’re got orders from UK, USA, Chile, Niger, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand… the list goes on.

Our Bebo page itself has been a hive of activity. We’ve had comments, thanks, quizzes and polls taken, and compliments on our hot looking members of staff. What a week! (Don’t panic though, the Flickr and final Skype orders are being well looked after!)

Bebo cards rule! but you need to make some Facebook ones too, social networking platforms and interactions is definately the future of ‘broadcasting’ the self on and offline!

    ps love my Moo cards!

  2. Eoin Bara:

I must say i love the cards! and the whole concept!
    What else do you print?

  3. minxlj:

I vote for Myspace cards! :-)

  4. Kirsty:

I’d love to see MySpace cards too! I got my first Flickr 100 pack in the mail yesterday and I love them so much! You guys are awesome.

  5. Hugh:

Please sort it out and get a myspace deal, think of all the bands who’ll do it! It’d be amazing. I don’t have any MOO cards but if i did i’d cherish them. I like the blog though.

  6. Dan W:

I second the facebook request. Possilby some lovely api so we can plug in support for any site? I’d love to see but I’m not sure if enough others would agree.

  7. pete:

Hey, I thought of the myspace thing to and I guess it would be great for business purposes. But honestly, if it becomes SOOOO popular, they wouldn’t be so cool. Don’t lose the coolness.

  8. Billy:

PLEASE DON’T do myspace, yeah it might be cool for a while but it would wear off really quick and then moo cards wouldn’t carry the same appeal and then others would start to copy your awesome ideas. Stick with greatness… apple, skype, etc…
I just ordered my first 100 and I can’t wait!!!
