MOO around the world

Since launching MiniCards with Flickr in September, MOO’s been busy spreading joy in miniature print form around the world. In just 4 short weeks MOO has produced more than half a million MiniCards for Flickr members in 86 countries. To put that in perspective, that’s enough cards to reach from the earth halfway up into the Stratosphere (nearly 24 miles up, to be precise). Here at MOO HQ, we’re all incredibly excited about this, and wonder if we’ll ever make it to the moon, only 23,726 miles to go.

Lots of Cards

Our free cards promotion was snapped up superquick: it took less than a week for 10,000 lucky Flickr Pro users to get their hands on a total of 100,000 free cards. Despite a slower start than we would have liked, Big MOO (our print machine) is now racing through orders, with some West Coast US customers getting their cards in just 5 working days from way over here in Clerkenwell, London - over five thousand miles away. Crikey.

MOO Group

We’ve also had some great feedback, and there’s a very active group that has evolved on Flickr, with over a thousand members - who’ve created some truly beautiful cards, come up with some awesome ideas for how to use them, and have made some great suggestions on new products for MOO to launch. We hear you guys - keep ‘em coming.

So go check the group out already, it rocks:

I got my 10 free cards on Oct 14th, they are all gone (of course!) and I am anxiously checking my mailbox for my first set, and the second set, ordered for my boyfriend. I’ve already got ideas for more sets I’ll be ordering very soon. So basically in four short days your 10 free cards have won me over so completely that I’ve told almost everyone I know about you and how much I dig you. Moo, thank you for being tactile…the cards feel so nice, and there is a very fun sense of humanity on your website, flickr pages and e-mails. I want a Little Moo, tireless robot sticker….

I received my pack of 100 calling cards today.
    Each a different photo.
They are beautiful, the big surprise was the exceptional quality of paper, nice and thick. They are very sturdy and delightful!
The packaging is incredible as well! A little plastic box to protect my little treasures!

    Thanks MOO!
